Four Elements
French painter, Hippolyte Dominique Berteaux, who came to Istanbul in 1870s made important works of art reflecting the era. Among these paintings adorning the ceilings of the İstanbul Cinema Museum, undoubtedly the most eye-catching one, is the work named “Water, Air, Earth and Fire” in the great hall.
