FUTURE IN CINEMA

Istanbul Cinema Museum, which is among the top three cinema museums in the world and hosts 130 pieces of original works shedding light on the history of cinema from the 18th century to the present day, held the first of a series of free training programmes for future filmmakers.

The training programme, which was held on 11 September 2022 at the Atlas 1948 Stage within the scope of the "Future is in Youth" Support Programme of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, hosted important names of the industry. Istanbul Cinema Museum hosted many different workshops for five months as part of the training programme.  

In addition to the Project Development Workshop, which offers opportunities for new ideas and technologies with its dynamic structure, the workshops that enable the understanding of the mission of qualified cinema, shaping the project pre-production and design stages, determining the road map and the existence of the cinema sector as a culture, as well as the Project Development Workshop, which was held within the scope of the "Future is in Cinema" training programme, were met with great interest by the participants. 

With the "Future is in Cinema" Project Development Workshop, which is an area open to story narratives, it is aimed to work well on the pre-production and design stages of the project for the development of qualified cinema, to draw the road map well and to develop the sector as a culture, and those who fully participated in the training curriculum created in this direction were provided with certificates and internship opportunities at the end of the workshop.
